Trypanosomatids 21EC and 37EC
 
             
A variety of mirids and lygaeids, as well as other heteroptera, were attracted to light traps set near the forest edge at the El Ceibo site. Many of them were found to harbour trypanosomatids, as exemplified by two cultures below.
